• Collaborated with Xcel environmental staff to prepare engineering design and geotechnical stability modeling, permit applications, and operation and monitoring plans for a solid waste landfill and a 100-acre lined surface impoundment.
• Prepared design, bid drawings, and construction oversight for initial construction and subsequent vertical expansions of the surface impoundment over a 5 year period.
• Provided assistance, reporting and certification necessary to comply with Minnesota solid waste permit and National Pollution Discharge Elimination System permits.
• Provided reporting and certification to comply with the EPA’s Coal Combustion Residual Rules.
