Carlson McCain staff provided a full bid package, bid procurement, construction drawings, onsite CQA, construction management, and final certification for the construction of a 9.91-acre landfill cell in Williston, North Dakota.
The cell was designed to safely store waste from oilfield activities utilizing a composite liner. Design and oversight were provided for the 3-foot thick, moisture conditioned, compacted clay liner, the 60-mil HDPE geomembrane liner, and the geocomposite drainage net. Onsite CQA involved verification surveying, coordinating soil testing, and providing real-time communication between the contractor and engineer.
